We take food safety very seriously on a normal day and have kicked into OCD level now! Our team has all been trained on the latest CDC and FDA guidelines for food handling. We consulted with a registered sanitarian (yep that’s a real job!) and have put additional, more stringent, standards in place while we are cooking for you and your family.
Here are some of the heightened standards in place for our staff:
Each kitchen (we have 2) will have a Sanitation Officer (SO) whose job is to ensure all safety procedures are maintained.
Upon arrival, each team member will head to the ‘cleaning station’ where their shift prep begins: cleaning shoes in sanitizing shoe bath, 30-second hand wash, hair/beard cover, face mask, and fresh chef coat (chef coats will be laundered at a commercial facility).
Hands are washed again upon entry into the kitchen and in 30 minute intervals.
In our Kitchens
Daily deep cleans ensure we are working in a sanitized space.
Staff limited to 5 people preparing food at one time to ensure proper distance between stations.
Only that day’s kitchen staff allowed in kitchen.
Out for Delivery
All food containers will be filled, wrapped in plastic, sanitized and bagged.
Our deliveries will be made with a focus on maintaining safety and when we arrive to your house we will leave the bags on your porch and call to alert you to the delivery.
Our #teamclean rules are important to keep our team and your family safe.
